La Gomera is made for walkers. For those who wish to lose themselves in its fronded forests, its impressive ravines, its green valleys. For those who want to discover step by step a unique landscape, belonging to another age.

Scenary sculpted by the waves, with steep cliffs, or aged by the passing of centuries, like the National Park of Garajonay. Relic of the Tertiary Era, no less, Garajonay is a forest in which we meet the history of the world face to face. Prehistoric vegetation watered by its many springs, awaits the visitor who penetrates the heart of the forest. Declared Heritage of Mankind by the UNESCO, any route you take will introduce you to the attractions of this National Park. Not only in the Park but all round the island, an authentic paradise for visitors in search of a quiet and peaceful holiday, there are abrupt terrain, villages, ravines or dry-stone terraces, fruit of the noble efforts of the Gomerans. Valleys covered in palm-groves which embrace small beaches, or the majestic appearance of Mount Teide, towering over unforgettable excursions. And so it is that the Magic Island, as La Gomera is known, with its rugged yet serene nature, wild but peaceful, is full of unexpected treasures for the visitor. There will also be the opportunity to experience 'El Silbo', a special whistling language with which the inhabitants have, for centuries, defeated distances in their mountainous territory.
